First 2010/11 Ashes Test - The Gabba - England and Australia play Out Draw
The 2010/11 Ashes Series is now underway at the fabulous Gabba in Brisbane and both sides look desperate for the all important win. England look to have a fit squad to pick from with their bowlers likely to be the key, the indications are that they will start with four bowlers on a good batting pitch so they will need to play well. Andrew Strauss and Ricky Ponting will be under pressure as they look to get the series off to a good start so will be one or two nerves in the air. The toss will be important with the winning captain set to have a bat first in keeping with tradition in recent years.
Outright Ashes Series Win Odds
The Australia team are well on top after Day 3 after Hussey and Haddin both hit centuries to give the home team a big first innings lead, England were unable to get rid of them and Andrew Strauss will need England to bat for along periods on Day 4. England did close the day on 19 for 0 and they will need to continue in that vain on sunday morning.
